Bit of a contradiction between what Atul Dodiya says in this video about the art world context being inspiring and the video where he says all the great works of art have already been painted before 1920s and "today's art practices are pathetic". That's a harsh judgement to pronounce on today's younger and emerging artists. After all, artists are a product of their times and are inspired by the realities and dilemmas of their socio-politico-cultural contexts. There's great work coming from Asian artists, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh...and a diversity of media, techniques and execution.
